Spoilers ahead: A money desperate Anto hatches a plan to help Hayley, but is unaware of the terrible consequences it could lead to as Ruby celebrates her 18th birthday
There is lots of drama on Thursday night's Fair City as Anto sets fire to the abandoned site, unaware that Ruby's 18th birthday party is taking place there.Anto is euphoric when he wins big on a gambling app, but Hayley feels dejected when the bank refuses her loan which would cover Damien's costs and save the site.

Meanwhile, Ruby is excited for the big party but Alex warns that Gwen is just using her to make money flogging cheap drinks. A worried Greg asks Alex to look out for Ruby when he learns the party’s location. Trying to impress Gwen, Ruby tells her that she’s taken drugs before. As the party gets underway, Ruby is humiliated when Alex rebuffs her kiss. Alex is angry when gate crashers show up to the party, but Gwen lets them in behind his back. Ruby feels sick after taking a pill, so Gwen orders her to get some air. Alex continues to panic as more partygoers arrive and Gwen informs him that Ruby has taken drugs. As well as that, Anto sets fire to the site for the insurance money as he is distraught for Hayley - unaware that a party is taking place inside. Elsewhere, Victor is irritated by Mondo’s obsession to preserve his own public image. When he overhears Mondo making up lies about Babs to save face, he outs the affair with Kira. All of that, plus Rafferty is suspicious when Paul stalls on Emma’s revamp plans, as she and Tommy plan another date. A condescending Rafferty warns Paul not to mess Emma around.
