Sunday night sees the wake of tragic Laura Halpin take place, but Damien's wife Mairead is in for the shock of her life when she unearths a chilling piece of evidence about the murderer
Emotions are running high as Damien and Mark prepare for their sister Laura's wake on Sunday night's Fair City .
Mark disagrees with opening Laura’s wake to the public, but Damien is adamant it’s what she would’ve wanted. Georgie rounds up some of the Carrigstown locals to support the Halpins in their mourning. Mairead is horrified when she discovers a sinister card left at Laura’s memorial and is convinced the killer is in attendance.Elsewhere in Carrigstown, Pete grows more pessimistic in the wake of Laura's murder. Hughie recommends an addiction counsellor to Pete, but he is offended and throws the gesture back in his face.All of that, plus Babs is concerned by Ruby’s withdrawn attitude. Victor, who is having an affair with Kira, is oblivious that he is the cause of Ruby’s upset.
