'There are a lot factors in how it all works out'
The actor said that whether or not he stays on the show is out of his hands, but he is enjoying his time in Carrigstown.
The former Red Rock and Braveheart star is balancing his soap work with other acting projects and that suits him perfectly because he loves the variety.Liam said: "There are a lot factors in how it all works out. As long as I am enjoying this, as long as they want me, I will stay, but that could change at any moment."It is not that I get bored, but I am lucky in the sense that I still do other work.
He told the RTÉ Guide: "I have done a couple of seasons of Harry Wild since I started on Fair City, and I have been away in New Zealand last year for a few weeks, filming.Liam's character is currently tied up in a very dramatic love triangle as he continues to date Carol Foley, played by Aisling O'Neill, while seeing her friend Sharon Collins, played by Néilí Conroy, behind her back. This type of acting comes with its challenges.
He said: "I wouldn't exactly call it fun; it is nerve-wracking. As it would be in real life, you know."My jaw drops and I burst out laughing every now and then when I read the scripts."He said: "I am enjoying this much more than I expected to really. I had been asked to be in Fair City before but the time wasn't right. I thought I would give it a go now."
