The family lost everything after a fire ripped through their home in Ballymun on Saturday

A fundraiser has been launched for a family of 11 after they lost “everything” in a house fire in Dublin over the weekend and now have to “start from scratch”.

Thankfully, everyone in the house escaped the fire, although most of the family’s belongings were destroyed following the inferno. A Dublin Fire Brigade spokesperson said: “Earlier today firefighters from Finglas were called to a house fire in Ballymun. 11 people were out on arrival of crews. Three people were taken to hospital.

A fundraiser has been launched for the family by a family member and friend, who shared that the family have lost most of their personal belongings, including clothes and toys.
