The mother of late school teacher Ashling Murphy appeared outside The Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin after Jozef Puska was found guilty of the murder of her daughter
Ashling Murphy ’s mother Kathleen held up a framed photo of her daughter outside The Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin.She was joined by her family, as her son Cathal issued a statement about his sister.He started out by thanking the members of the jury for their verdict.
“The judicial process cannot bring our darling Ashling back, nor can it heal our wounds. But we are relieved that this verdict delivers justice.He asked for continued privacy as his family “continue to process and grieve the loss of our darling Ashling.” “From day one the outpouring of love and support was felt in abundance from the Irish people, both on an national and international level has stood in solidarity with our family to mourn the loss of our beautiful talented Ashling and to condemn gender based brutality with visceral repulsion,” he continued.
“Her life had a huge impact on so many of those around her and she was the epitome of a role model for every little girl to look up to and strive to be.
