The family of a 13-year-old boy hospitalised following an alleged serious assault have thanked the public for their support.
The teenager was allegedly 'stabbed' on Friday, March 8, near Queen's Park in the south side. Emergency services rushed to the scene near Victoria Road and the youngster was taken to Glasgow Children's Hospital. Officers shut off a stretch of the area between Queen’s Drive and Maybank Lane, and Queen’s Drive between Maybank Street and Langside Road. A 17-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today, Wednesday March 13.
