The family of a woman who was fatally struck by a police van in Motherwell have launched legal action against Police Scotland .
Now, three years after the incident Mrs McCarron’s children have brought a case before the Court of Session. In a statement issued by the family's lawyers, Digby Brown said that “aspects of the incident remain unclear”.
