Joe Slattery suffered life-changing injuries while training with his team last week.
The family of a young GAA player who suffered life-changing injuries while training has issued an update.
Joe's Uncle Clive appeared on Morning Ireland on Friday to speak about the fundraising and Joe's condition. And speaking of the training injury, he said: "For the family, and certainly for Joe, I don’t think there’s much point in getting overly fixated with it. "We have our nephew; we have our son. He’s fully with us, albeit with an altered future. We can make the best of that and no better man himself than to do so."
