Iconic Edinburgh Zoo penguin Sir Nils Olav received a visit from the Guinness World Records last week after he was given a 'historic promotion' over the summer.
A famous penguin at Edinburgh Zoo has received a world record upgrade after he was promoted to the highest-ranking animal of his kind in the world.
Guinness World Records Editor in Chief Craig Glenday visited Edinburgh Zoo on September 29 to present the zoo’s penguin keeper team with the updated world record title. "It is an incredible privilege to not only work with a knighted penguin, but a Guinness World Records title holder as well."
