of a practical purpose when you think about it. Cyberpunk 2077 does let players go to NCART stations, but they’re just fast travel points, and you can instantly warp to any area of the city from them, no need to sit waiting for a train to go through a 14 track loop. So it’s more just a neat addition rather than anything that you’d use for a reason other than sightseeing, but that said, it iscool to see a project like this flesh out Night City more.
CDPR does have new additions planned for Night City to come, though I would be amazed if there was anything like this on deck. In terms of practical additions the city needs, I’d say a barbershop, tattoo parlor and cosmetic surgeons are needed in order to change various aspects of your appearance. Hell, I’d just settle for previewing clothing items before you purchase them, something I’m pretty sure games let you do 20 years ago.
Cyberpunk has no more planned updates for 2021 , but will show up in Q1 2022 with a large patch that is allegedly supposed to accompany the next-gen release of the game, provided it doesn’t get delayed for the third time. I would probably not expect anything to arrive until February at the earliest, given the nebulous window, but we’ll have to see. For now, just enjoy all the rather great mods that fans have made on PC, some of which really are quite transformative, as you can see.
