The former Ireland international appears to have taken the snap after Ireland's quarter-final defeat to New Zealand at the Stade de France last weekend.
Commenting on the photo, the 34-year-old wrote: "The party might be over... But we made the most of it. Thank you Ireland! Good luck to all the semi final teams!"Caplice is currently a player/coach with French side Stade Rochelais, having previously played for Harlequins and UL Bohemians in Limerick among other clubs.
She has also represented Ireland, playing in a number of Six Nations tournaments. Caplice won 16 caps for Ireland before retiring from international rugby in April 2022 and was a member of the 2017 World Cup squad. She has also played for the Ireland sevens team. Instagram The Mallow native has been vocal in standing up for women players and has spoken about sexism in rugby in the past.
And many people commended her for her latest post on Instagram, which was liked by Irish footballer Stephanie Zambra, Sky Sports presenter Emma Paton and over 1,500 others, with one writing: "You are younger than me but you are who I want to be when I grow up."Another person said: "Anna please never change.
