There was a huge police presence at Watford Junction last night after reports of fighting between football fans
There was a sea of blue lights outside Watford Junction at around 11pm following reports of football fans fighting on the platforms.
Supporters of both Watford and Burnley were said to be involved following their teams' Friday night Championship fixture at Vicarage Road. One Watford fan told the Observer there were around 200 fans in the station on different platforms when trouble started.The scene outside Watford Junction.Credit: Stephen DanzigOfficers from the British Transport Police and Hertfordshire Constabulary attended with police dogs also called in to try and control the situation.At least one arrest was made in relation to trespassing on the tracks.
