Sixteen days will be enough time for Leeds United to reinforce the seven areas Daniel Farke wants to be strengthened, he feels. Time is ticking away in this tumultuous transfer window at Elland Road with only four new arrivals up to now, but Farke remains relaxed the club is doing all the right things.
The German does admit they may miss out on some players identified earlier in the window because of how late business is coming through, but he even reached for a well-known motto in his reassurance over 11th-hour deals. “That means, perhaps, not each and every player we wanted to sign is available anymore, but the situation is like this. It's a bit tricky, but I'm quite confident we'll have some good solutions and you know this quote, 'save the best for last'.
