This is the second day of the protest, which yesterday and early today brought traffic disruption in the city centre as farmers protested around the Leinster House and St Stephen’s Green areas. Just before 12pm today, farmers told TheJournal.ie they were on their way to bring the protest to the busy Dublin Port area.#TRAFFIC UPDATE: Please be advised you may experience traffic congestion in #DublinPort & surrounding areas in the next hour due to the Farmers Protest. This morning, road closures were in place on Kildare Street, Molesworth Street, Merrion Square West, South, and East, St Stephen’s Green North and East, and Merrion Street Upper.
