Farmers around the country face Revenue bills of more than €100,000 under the current proposals for the Residential Zoned Land Tax .
An analysis by the Irish Farmers Association estimates hundreds of its members could be hit by the zoned land tax, which will place a 3 per cent annual levy on the market value of around 25,000 acres of zoned residential land around the country.
