Fast X has also assembled a massive cast of unique talent, as many franchise regulars are returning, with Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Ludacris, and Rodriguez. However, the film is also adding quite the roster of new talent with the addition of Brie Larson, Jason Momoa, Alan Ritchson, Rita Moreno, and Daniela Melchior.

Fast & Furious star Diesel, who also serves as producer on this latest effort, has been cited as challenging to work with following his public feud with Dwayne Johnson, with his on-set behavior said to have been a factor in Lin's departure.
Even with principal photography wrapping in just a few weeks, a film like Fast X will likely undergo reshoots to add material in the coming months. However, given that production looks to be on track, the film's May 19, 2023 release date is still holding firm. Further details on Fast X will be forthcoming as production continues.
