LinkedIn is cutting almost 700 roles across its engineering, product, talent and finance teams, raising fears that workers at its Irish operations could be affected.
The 668 job losses is the company’s second round of job cuts this year and represents the latest in a wave of contractions in the tech sector over the last 12 months as firms re-size their workforces after a period of strong growth during the Covid-19 pandemic.
