Tributes have been paid at the funeral of 'treasured' PC Andrew Harper after he was killed while responding to a burglary. His wife Lissie and brother Sean were among 800 mourners who attended a private funeral at Christ Church cathedral in Oxford.

He allegedly said he'd like to 'comfort' Mrs Harper 'in his hotel room' after her husband was killed in the line of duty and told his pregnant colleague 'maybe you'll get a bum now'. After the panel was shown footage of PC Apter standing closely behind Female A at the bar, PC Carter-Lang said 'I remember her looking very uncomfortable'.The panel also heard in PC Carter-Lang's witness statement, which was taken after the incident, he said: 'John and Female A were being flirtatious.
CCTV footage filmed inside shows the constable choosing an end seat, before PC Apter walks over and urges her to move along so he can sit down next to her. CCTV filmed at the restaurant after the alleged bottom grab show's PC Apter stumbling down stairs as he goes to the toilet, then stumbling back up stairs on his return.
Mrs Harper also suggested that the police leader abused his senior position by making the remark, for which he faces gross misconduct charges.
