Fianna Fail politician Kevin O'Keeffe deletes 'joke' limo photo after Twitter backlash

A general election candidate has deleted a photo of himself posing with a stretch limo after a backlash on social media.

He captioned it: "After a long day, needed a fill" with Fianna Fail's slogan as the hashtag #AnIrelandForAll. But the Twitter and Instagram post drew a harsh reaction, with plenty of people pointing out that posing with a limo was not exactly a good look for a Dail hopeful in the midst of housing, health and income crises, Cork Beo reports.

It may not have even been the biggest social media blunder of the election so far, as Fine Gael can probably claim that title with a bizarre video depicting Fianna Fail ministers running around "looking for policy ideas" to the sound of the Benny Hill theme tune.
