The last energy credit was applied in March - but more is on the way
The finance minister has confirmed that the public can expect energy supports in the upcoming budget.
The finalised measures for Budget 2024 will be announced on the 10th of October, but members of the government have already hinted at what the public can expect later this year. “So we will decide what is the right mix, but we also want to see the market responding by passing on the wholesale reductions to consumers and come early October, we will then come to a final view about what is an appropriate Government response.”“That is why I do anticipate that the Government will be providing support to households to meet the energy bills in the months ahead.”
