Justice Amanda Tipples says Marsden told"various lies" to doctors the night of Finley's death.
Finley's father, Stephen Boden, then arrived at hospital around 04:20 in the morning, the judge goes on, saying he also lied about the final hours and days of Finley's life. She says there is a standard process that follows the unexpected death of a child, including the body being examined by a variety of medical experts who give their opinions on what they've found.
The judge says these examinations found that the cause of Finley's death was numerous non-accidental injuries to his body. All the injuries were inflicted on him between the 4 and 22 December, and all caused him severe pain and suffering, the judge says.
