An incident at Glasgow Airport has sparked a major emergency response as four fire crews can be seen surrounding a passenger aircraft.
At around 2pm this afternoon an Icelandair plane, which is docked near one of the airport's terminals, can be seen barricaded by fire recue teams and other emergency vehicles. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were requested at 2pm on Thursday, 18 May to support our fire service partners at Glasgow Airport. "Operations Control mobilised a number of resources to the scene, where SFRS personnel supported their partners before leaving the area.
