Fire damages several businesses in Chula Vista commercial building [Breaking]
A fire damaged several businesses in Chula Vista early Wednesday morning and investigators are trying to determine how it started.
Someone called in to say a fire had been discovered around 3 a.m. in a commercial building on Third Avenue near F Street. When firefighters crews arrived they could smell smoke and found a fire on an exterior wall that spread to at least two businesses, Chula Vista Fire Battalion Chief Brendan Barahura told OnScene TV.“There’s two occupancies that were immediately affected with fire and then multiple occupancies that have smoke extension,” he said.A fire investigator was assigned to determine how the fire started.
