Dothan Fire responded to a call from a civilian reporting smoke. DFD were on the scene at 1:15 pm.
DOTHAN, Ala. - A Dothan building in the heart of downtown went up in flames this afternoon.Two people saw smoke coming out of the building directly beside Love in Action Ministries and called 9-1-1.
The Dothan Fire Department was on the scene shortly after and worked to put the fire out for over an hour. Due to fear of the building collapsing – crews had to work the fire from outside. They believe the building could have been occupied by someone homeless – but at this time they’re reporting no injuries.
