Two separate fires were found by rescue services in woodland.
Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service was called at 5:24pm yesterday to reports of a fire in woodland at The Elms Fishing Club, High Street, Rickmansworth.
Two fire engines, from Rickmansworth and Watford fire stations were sent to the scene, where crews found two separate fires in the woodland.A spokesperson said: “Access to the fires was difficult, and firefighters had to drag apart the burning material before extinguishing it with hosereels.”Two people suffered minor injuries and were taken hospital as a precaution.
