A fire involving a fallen tree at a skate park is being treated as arson.
A fire engine was scrambled from Telford to tackle the fire
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews were called to the Stirchley skate park in Telford at around 3.40pm on Tuesday after a reports of a fire in the open. A spokesperson for the fire service said the fire involved a fallen tree and crew from Telford Central had extinguished the blaze. In an update posted to Twitter on Wednesday, SFRS said the blaze was now being treated as"deliberate".
