No one was seriously hurt, but KSL reported the first two vehicles that were hit each had a woman and four children in them. All were apparently taken to the hospital with minor injuries, while three firefighters were also taken to the hospital as a precaution. Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Cameron Roden told the station a total of nine vehicles were involved in the crash and they’re still trying to figure out if the “fire engine was driving too close or if a vehicle sticking out into the lane caused the series of crashes.” However, judging by the video, it appears to be a little of both.
