Firefighters and control room staff have voted to strike over pay for the first time since 2003.
The government and employers are now being given 10 days to improve their offer before the union decides its next move. Polling shows public support for strike action by firefighters is strong, with three in five people backing action. BREAKING ð¨ | 88% of Firefighters in England, Scotland and Wales have voted YES to strike action for fair pay.He said: ‘They have already lost at least 12% of the value of their pay since 2010. This is an absolute last resort for our members.
