The popular Mexican venue is set to open a second restaurant in Glasgow’s west end and has offered diners a first look at what they can expect.

The new Topolabamba site is located in the old premise of an iconic West end institution, The Whistler’s Mother. The new spot will feature two bars with one familiar to fans of Topolabomba and the other a new look inspired by a Mexican-inspired Bodega bar. The stylish new restaurant will be part of the new £100m Love Loan development at George Square and will be named after the tree that features in the legend of St Mungo.Hugely popular award-winning restaurant Gamba on West George Street first opened way back in 1998 and has been serving up some of the city's best seafood dishes ever since.
