The owners of Petrichor, Jack Davies and Leigh Rollinson, have opened a second venue in the former Jaxon's on Longmoor Lane

Terra Preta is a new venue from best friends Leigh Rollinson and Jack Davies, the team who brought Petrichor coffee house and bar to Aintree village.

"They were always asking when we're opening, are dogs allowed, what will we have behind the bar... Every time we post an update everyone is dead excited for it. Terra Preta, which is opening to the public on Saturday, March 16, will serve hot drinks and cake in the morning and alcohol from midday. The venue is spread across two floors, although the second floor is not yet open for business.

The bar will be stocked with spirits including drinks that you "wouldn't normally find in the area." There are eight draft taps which will boast craft and German beer. Four beers will be constantly stocked and the remaining four will be rotated and changed frequently.
