Fisherman's Friends: One and All has a tragic real-life inspiration
Singer Trevor Grills also suffered severe head injuries in the freak accident and died. The incident happened only days after the band had recorded their second album, which was released later that year in August.

It's why his wife Maggie is so determined to persuade the record label to release the album, getting them to agree that if the Fisherman's Friends played Glastonbury then they'd release the album. Hence the lobster plan, which obviously works a treat.is based on the motto from the Cornish coat of arms, and it's also what the real-life band called their second album in memory of Trevor Grills. The movie is also dedicated to Grills and Paul McMullen.
