Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene early this morning after the building collapsed in Mayo.
It happened in Kilkelly in the early this morning, which is just off the N17 between Charlestown and Claremorris.Midwest Radio can confirm, five people were in the building in Kilkelly when it collapsed, all of whom now are being treated for non life threatening injuries.Five people were rescued and taken to hospital for treatment for injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
The street in Kilkelly has been sealed off and local traffic diversions are in place, with people being asked to avoid the area if possible.
