The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent two fire appliances to the Sherwood industrial estate in Bonnyrigg.

Five people have been rushed to hospital after a "potentially hazardous" chemical spill at a Scots industrial estate.

Five people were treated by ambulance crews at the scene and taken to hospital for further treatment, Edinburgh Live reports. Crews worked to contain the chemical spillage internally and monitored the atmosphere to ensure the area was safe. The last fire appliance left the scene at 4.35am.
