Perfect weekend to head to one of Yorkshire's beaches 😍☀️🏖️
With temperatures set to hit the late 20s and maybe creep into the 30s we will all be looking for the best place to soak up the sunshine. And you can't beat a good old fashioned Yorkshire day at the seaside when the weather is warm.
1) Sandsend You'll find this little slice of heaven just outside of Whitby, in North Yorkshire. Sandsend is a little village with a long sweeping sandy beach and a stream running through the middle of the village. 2) Cayton Bay If you travel just a few miles out of Scarborough you will come across Cayton Bay. The beach is popular with surfers and walkers and is a secluded spot that is quiet and perfect for letting your children run around.
3) Hunmanby Gap Hunmanby Gap is situated in a little cove just outside of the popular resort of Filey. While there isn't as much to do here it is unspoilt, quiet and gets you away from the hustle and bustle of the busier beaches.Right in the middle of the Pennines - in fact it's on top of the hills next to the Pennine Way - is Gaddings Dam. Situated above Todmorden it was originally built to supply water to the mills in the town below.
