Apple TV+ has released a first trailer for Flora and Son, an Irish comedy-drama from director John Carney (Sing Street) that stars Bad Sisters' Eve Hewson.
Also featuring amongst its cast Don Wycherley and Jack Reynor, Flora and Son premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival to rave reviews, with the film currently holding a 95% Rotten Tomatoes score.
Following the Sundance screening, Apple TV+ acquired the distribution rights to the comedy-drama for a reported figure of just under $20 million, suggesting the streaming giant has high hopes for the project.This has led some to ponder whether the movie could be a potential player at next year's Oscars.
