The other provincial games, all slated for Saturday, include: Hafford hosts Lemberg in 1A six-man, Wakaw and Clavet will meet in 2A six-man, and Indian Head hosts Melfort in 4A nine-man.Saskatoon’s Nancy Martin and Tyrell Griffith beat Edmonton-based Laura Walker and Kirk Muyres 8-5 in the final of this weekend’s Aly Jenkins Memorial mixed doubles Super Series bonspiel at the Sutherland Curling Club.
Martin and Griffith lost their first game of the event before winning seven in a row, capped off by the wrap-up victory over Walker and Muyres. The runner-ups had won all six games heading into the final, including a 5-3 victory over Ottawa’s Rachel Homan and Brad Jacobs in the semifinal.
