Footballer receives 'serious injury to neck' in attack during a match between two Dublin based clubs
A FOOTBALLER received a serious injury to his neck in an alleged attack from an opposing team's player during a match between two Dublin based clubs over the weekend.

They confirmed that he was “alive” but was in “shock”. The club also revealed that the medical report suggested the injury was caused by a “cutting element”.
In addition to their statement, the club also posted a blurred picture of a player lying on the pitch while another holds his head for support as paramedics treat him.
