SOUTHAMPTON’S FATE seems sealed whilst Nottingham Forest took a huge step in the opposite direction with a 4-3 win over their relegation rivals,Taiwo Awoniyi lifted his shirt to reveal a passage from the bible in celebration of his goal, however it is the Saints who now just have a prayer’s hope of survival.

Forest had gone two ahead after 20 minutes thanks to a Taiwo Awoniyi double. First, Danilo played a Pirlo-esque pass from deep inside his own half towards Brennan Johnson who cut the ball across the box for Awoniyi to guide home.
