Now, he says he intends to raise the issue in the House of Lords in the coming weeks and wants to see the government do more to protect"innocent, unsuspecting drivers" that are left out of pocket by parking fines. He explained:"I'm really upset about this, this has happened to me, it's happened to my wife. I've spoken to taxi drivers that have 10 minutes to wait for their fares and they've been fined because their fares took 12 minutes.
