Brown penned a new two-year deal with GWS last year, but has previously spoken of his ambition to return home to chase an All-Ireland Senior title with Derry.Brown was one of the standout players in the Derry minor team of 2017 and played in the so-called David Clifford All-Ireland MFC of that year with the Fossa star scoring 4-4.
