Max Branning star Jake Wood joined Kate Garraway and Ed Balls on Good Morning Britain
Former EastEnders star Jake Wood made an admission as he gave an update on his latest project on Good Morning Britain .
This isn't the star's first foray into theatre. He previously appeared in the West End's 2:22 A Ghost Story alongside both Cheryl and Lily Allen.He's now returning to the National Theatre for a 'completely different' project. Explaining the premise of the production, Jake explained how London Tide is based on the Charles Dickens novel Our Mutual Friend.
"Are you a singer?" Kate asked, as Jake admitted: "I'm not a singer, but I am singing in the show, so yeah! I don't know how that's going to go, so you'll have to come and see the show and let me know..." Ed rounded off the interview by asking Jake, an Arsenal fan, the Eastenders question on every fan's mind - could Max Branning ever return to Walford? "What's more likely - Arsenal winning the Premier League or Max Branning returning to Eastenders?" the former politician probed.
