Former Leinster, Ulster and Ireland out-half Ian Madigan has announced his retirement from rugby due to injury at the age of 34.
He left for Bordeaux in 2016 before moving onto Bristol Bears the following year. In 2020, he returned to Ireland and finished his career playing for Ulster for the past three seasons. "Without doubt the highlight of my career was representing our great island of Ireland, in particular at the World Cup in 2015.
