Former LIGHTSUM member Jian dedicates a handwritten letter to fans after departure from the group
Jian wrote on October 31,You must have been greatly surprised by the sudden news... I debated for a long time about how to best deliver my thoughts to the fans, and I've decided on a letter to relay my feelings as much as I can.
I debuted as a member of LIGHTSUM in my third year of middle school, and time has gone by and I've now entered high school. It was all because of SOMIT that I was able to experience so much, grow, and receive so much love during this short time. To all SUMIT who came a long way to see our stage, to all SUMIT who came to see us even on the hot and rainy days, to all SUMIT who always encouraged me with warm words, and to the overseas SUMIT who cheered me on with your letters and through our video chat calls... I just don't think I'll ever forget these images of you. Of course, there were times when I was exhausted and stressed, but I was able to endure it all because of SUMIT.
I don't think of this as the end. I won't give up on my dreams and will continue to run toward them, so let's believe that there will come a day when we can greet one another again. I appreciate your concerns for me, but at the same time, I hope that SUMITs will not suffer too much from this. Thank you for making beautiful memories that will stay with me for the rest of my life, and as always, I will remember SUMITs deep in my heart, so please don't think of this as the end, as our farewell. Thank you to all SUMITs who loved and supported me, and please cheer on Jian in the future as well!"
