Jade Leigh Hunt was a former Miss Galaxy Scotland winner Tributes have been paid by family and friends to a former beauty queen who has died aged 35. Jade Leigh Hunt, was described as ‘the purest of souls’ by her family who have set up a JustGiving page following her death on Saturday. A message on the page reads: ‘On Saturday 30th March 2024 our family was shattered with the heartbreaking news of Jade’s sudden passing. ‘Jade had the purest of souls, she loved deeply and was loved immeasurably.
’ The 35-year-old from Bathgate, West Lothian, was crowned Miss Galaxy Scotland in 2012. She flew to Orlando following her win to compete in Miss Galaxy where she wowed the judges and scooped a top ten place in the competition. Jade also ran a teeth whitening company and worked in the past as a support worker providing care for adults with mental and physical disabilities. Until recently she was a company director with the advertising firm Mayhem Agency UK.
