Bertie is so proud of his family, and has spoken about the high-jinks he gets up to with his grandkids.
Former Taoiseach Bartholomew "Bertie" Ahern has rejoined Fianna Fáil some 11 years after resigning from the party.
They had first met in the 1970s when they were both members of young Fianna Fail, with both having political ambitions. She previously had a chain of beauty salons, the Blue Door, in Dublin and Limerick after she finished up her role as Bertie's assistant. Cecelia is married David Keoghan, and the couple have three children. In 2009, it was announced that Cecelia had given birth to daughter Robin, and in July 2012 she gave birth to her second child, a boy named Sonny.Meanwhile, Georgina has many talents, being a qualified fitness instructor and part of the Irish showbiz scene with work as a presenter and formerly running a blog.
"They love fun and games. They were imitating me everywhere and falling on the ground pretending they had hurt their legs," he said in an interview on BBC Radio Ulster.Aside from his children, there has been some tragedy in the former Taoiseach's family life.
