He ordered his followers to 'take our nation back' in response.
Former US President Donald Trump has said he will be arrested next week over payments made to a porn star.
Trump's post reads: "Now illegal leaks from a corrupt & highly political Manhattan district attorneys office, which has allowed new records to be set in violent crime & whose leader is funded by George Soros, indicate that, with no crime being able to be proven, & based on an old & fully debunked fairytale, the far & away leading republican candidate & former president of the united states of America, will be arrested on Tuesday of next week.
Trump’s lawyer, Joseph Tacopina, said that if Trump is indicted, “we will follow the normal procedures.” “Democrats have investigated and attacked President Trump since before he was elected — and they’ve failed every time,” campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung said in a statement Thursday about the inquiry.
Cohen has said that at Trump's direction, he arranged payments totalling $280,000 to porn actress Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal.
