The Cork star shared the news on World Cancer Day

Former Xpose star Peter O’Riordan has revealed his skin cancer scare as he urged his followers to "get checked regularly."

Speaking on World Cancer Day on Tuesday, he wrote: "Get checked regularly, wear sunscreen," he wrote in the caption. "PSA: 'You are not stronger than the sun'. Melanoma NO BUENO." Peter already has two children, Romeo and Oliver, from his previous marriage to Stephanie Evans. He is expecting a little girl with Jo Jo later this year.

Peter showed the wreckage of his family's home at the time after they lost everything with just rubble and charred building materials left behind.
