Epic Games has released the first trailer for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3: Wilds
“Find out what Fortnite Wilds is all about when a squad uncovers what’s beneath the crumbling terrain,” reads the blurb accompanying the debut trailer, which is viewable below.“Danger is afoot, but so is an adventure! Be on the lookout for mud, raptors, and vines as these will all play a key part in navigating Wilds. Plus, an Autobot bestows his likeness upon the Island.”
The Autobot in question is Optimus Prime. It’s currently unknown what his role will be, but the Transformers crossover continues a long line of pop culture cameos in Epic’s free to play shooter. Downtime for the new chapter will begin on June 9 at 2am ET / 7am BST, according to Epic. Full patch notes for the update have yet to be released.
