A number of classic landmarks have found their way onto Fortnite's current map, teasing some time-twisting shenanigans.
There’s been more evidence in-game that the upcoming season of Fortnite could see the battle royale wind back the clock, as some familiar landmarks have returned to the game’s map. As spotted by the Twitter account Fortnite News & Leaks, a number of classic items from the game’s Chapter 1 map have now appeared on Frenzy Fields, including the giant Durrr Burger, the Dusty Diner sign and the giant statue that formerly sat outside of Uncle Pete’s Pizza Pit.
Earlier this year, a number of reputable leakers and dataminers claimed to have found evidence that seemed to point towards classic content, and Epic themselves even slipping in a sneaky Chapter 1 Season 5 reference in a recent social media post. Fans are, as expected, quite excited for the return, with responses to FBRFeed’s tweet including those hoping for the return of such POIs as Dusty Diner, Tomato Town and others.
