Four energy supports confirmed by the government to help with electricity bills

The autumn and winter months are particularly hard on households around Ireland as the cost of electricity and gas bills begin to quickly increase due to the freezing temperatures

The increase in the cost of living and energy crisis have put incredible financial pressure on households over the past couple of years.

The first payment will be made in December 2023, the second will be made in January 2024 and the third will be made in March 2024. The credit applies to every domestic electricity account, which means that if you have multiple homes in Ireland with a domestic electricity account you get the credit for each account.

Fuel Allowance In Budget 2024, a €300 once-off lump sum will be paid to people getting Fuel Allowance in November 2023.
